About Imagine
Founded to keep documentary photography honest
Imagine Photojournalist Society was founded in 2012 in Jaipur by international photojournalist Purushottam Diwakar. It exists to keep documentary photography honest and to pass the craft on — bringing photographers, editors, educators, writers, and students into one room.
The Campus Program is how that mission reaches university campuses directly: it treats a photograph as evidence and a public record, not decoration, and builds a culture that reads images as carefully as it reads words.
