Satish Pednekar
Journalist
Satish has been a journalist for the past 35 years, with extensive experience in print, web, and electronic media. He spent more than 25 years at Jansatta, a Hindi daily from the Indian Express Group, where he held various roles including Chief Sub Editor, News Editor, and Deputy Bureau Chief. Satish began his journalism career with Panchjanya and Dainik Bhaskar, which provided him the foundation to grow in the field. After Jansatta, he became the Editor of Azadi.me, a website run by the Centre for Civil Society, and later worked as the Editor (National Bureau) at News Express, where he also taught journalism at Sai Prasad Media Academy.
Other Work:
– Edited the book New Media: Chunoutiyan aur Sambhavanayein.
– Translated six booklets for Bharat Gyan Vigyan Samiti.
– Translated Hamara Kasoor Kya Hai from Marathi to Hindi, published by the National Book Trust.
– Translated Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar’s speeches from Marathi to Hindi for the Dr. Ambedkar Foundation.
– Co-authored and edited Chin Ki Chunnauti for the India Policy Foundation.
