Sakhamitra Ashwini is the Creative Head of Studio ABCD, an advertising and PR agency located in Mumbai. The agency specializes in brand building, products, films, and events, with a focus on concept development and design both in India and abroad.
Sakhamitra is known for his creative expression through photography, which conveys powerful messages without words. He played a key role in designing the concept for the successful Vibrant Gujarat 2009 event, which was endorsed by Shri Narendra Modi, who is now the Prime Minister of India. Sakhamitra and his team at Studio ABCD aim to support Modi’s dreams of “Make in India” and “Digital India.”
With extensive experience, Studio ABCD has worked on various projects for companies, MNCs, state governments, private firms, and NGOs. Notable projects include:
– A film for MineCorp India about the mining potential of Madhya Pradesh, which received praise from Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
– A book titled “Awakening Thoughts,” which includes Hindi poems on women’s empowerment inspired by the Nirbhaya case. Sakhamitra wrote around 20 poems, and the book was inaugurated by Smt. Mamta Sharma, Chief of the Women Commission, in 2013.
– A short film called “Path of Ahimsa,” highlighting the friendship between Acharya Shri Mahapragya and former President of India, Shri APJ Abdul Kalam. The film was inaugurated in New Jersey, USA, by Mayor Mr. John McCormick in 2011.
