Dr. Rajesh Kumar Vyas

Dr. Rajesh Kumar Vyas ( presently, joint director to the Hon’ble Governor, Rajasthan) is an Eminent Art critic, poet columnist and travelogue writer. He has been awarded several prestigious awards like the ‘Rajasthani Bhasha Sahitya akademi award’, the ‘Manak Alankaran’, the ‘Rahul Sanskrityayan award’ by the tourism ministry of india, and the National “Sahitya Akademi Award” . Currently he is also a board of study memeber of the Haridev Joshi journalism and mass communication University of Rajasthan.A household name in the fields of tourism, art and culture, he has so far written 23 books in different streams of literature. He is well known for his creative writing in hindi as well as Rajasthani language. He was instrumental in giving shape to nearly two dozens of itinerary Documentaries for Doordarshan including the series “Desert Calling”, fifty one episodes of which have been telecasted on various national and local channels.
