Lt. Col. Amitabh Sharma
Indian Army Officer
Lt Col Amitabh Sharma is a graduate of the Officers Training Academy, 1996 Batch. He was commissioned into the Armoured Corps and is part of the esteemed Armoured Regiment, Hodson’s Horse.
His educational qualifications include a BA Honours in History from St Stephen’s College, Delhi (1994) and a Master’s in Journalism and Mass Communication from Amity University, Lucknow (2016). Additionally, he has completed courses in Human Rights from IGNOU and Social Media and PR Media from IIMC.
In his service background, Lt Col Sharma has worked in all operational commands of the Indian Army and has also served with the Assam Rifles. He has held various staff and operational positions, including serving as the Public Relations Officer in Nagaland with the Assam Rifles from 2016 to 2018.
